Tartar sauce

                                Tartar sauces for fish and chips

Better than store bought! Why buy tartar sauce when we can make it at home. It's simple to make and a healthier choices as well. We don't need all that preservatives and additives.


1 chopped  pickle
1 teaspoon of chopped green onions
t tablespoons of coarsely chopped cilantro or parsley
2 tablespoons of mayonnaise
1 tablespoon of chopped celery
a pinch of sea salt
1/2 teaspoon of ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon of sugar or 1/3
1 teaspoon of fresh lemon juice

In a medium bowl, add the mayonnaise, stir in the chopped pickles, celery, green onions, cilantro ( or parsley). Season it with a pinch of sea salt, black pepper, sugar and lemon juice. Serve it as a veggie dip or along side with fish and chips.
